Program
Definition:
A Displaced Homemaker is a North Dakota resident who is:
| 1. At least 18 years of age |
| 2. Is unemployed or underemployed |
| 3. Has been economically dependent on a spouse |
| 4. Wants to be gainfully employed to become economically independent |
| 5. Lacks basic skills to be
gainfully employed and is widowed, divorced, separated, or, because of the
disability of the individual's spouse, parent or legal guardian, is
displaced from the individual's former, i.e. dependent role.
